The brand new rules cut off the power after 1000 Watt-minutes. Therefore the motor with the highest efficiency has the best chances,
because it gets the most out of the limited energy.

The Austrian team of the Mayr family won 1st place (Daniel Mayr) and 2nd place (Günther Mayr) with Lehner motors from serial production and at the same time established a new world record (fastest run in history, finished in 62,31s).

New cooling systems - LK versions of series 19, 22, and 30
(14.11.2007) Due to the rapid developments in rechargable cell technology (Li-Mn, Li-Fe, Li-Po, etc.) it has become nessecary, especially
in high-performance applications, to develop more effective cooling systems.
Our new forced air cooling works dependant on RPM:
Low RPM - low performance - low air flow,
High RPM - high performance - high air flow.

Another three new WORLD RECORDS at the high speed contest of R/C boats,
using LEHNER motors:
- Class N2 Hydro (up to 6 NC/NMH cells) 93,129 mph (149 km/h)
- Class O Hydro (up to 8 NC/NMH cells) 98,77 mph (158 km/h)
- Class T Hydro (up to 32 NC/NMH cells) 140,36 mph (224,6 km/h) VIDEO (wmv)

The T-Hydro world record is also the highest speed any R/C boat has ever achieved.
These results were achieved with LMT motors from our series. We are proud to offer our customers the capability of reaching world record speeds in "serial-production"!

2006 (Straight AWay) has again been a
great success. Several world records have been achieved.
These are some of the world records, reached under American rules.
- Class N2 (4 - 6 cells) – Michael Salffner, 85.11 mph (137.0 km/h) with
1920/5
- Class O (6 - 8 cells) – Hans Lehner, 97.18 mph (156.4 km/h) with 1930/4
- Class PB Hydro (9-12 Zellen) - Ingo Grimmiger, 74,91 mph (120,54 km/h) with 2 1930/4 HighAmp

Brand new: Due to many
requests of our customers we have introduced the 3040 motor, which is now
available.
This motor closes the gap between the motors 2280 and 3060. Power approx. 6KW. Accessories water cooling, flex axle coupling and motor clamp are also available.
